Kenwright was a big reason but I don't think we can clear Moshiri of all blame. He is the one where the bucket stops. He had all the power (unless it was actually Usmanov). He picked the DoFs and he picked the managers ultimately. He oversaw the overspending that nearly destroyed us.

Done more to redevelop Goodison and the surroundings than Kenwright ever did, he done good things away from the pitch, unfortunately he never had the people around him to be successful on it. Can’t think of many people who buy a football and let the fella who sold it stay in. It was always in Kenwrights interest for him to fail.

That was the turning point as club then became bottom half team with relegation near misses. A really poor decision and he should've known better.

Think he was a bit like Lerner at Villa all those years ago. Started off well spending big money and appointing decent managers even if the structure behind it wasn't great e.g. summer 2017 and Koeman.

Then lost interest and started making rash decisions with managers. At least once that happened the club was sold fairly quickly rather than more years of being stuck in no man's land.

If he’d got his way we would’ve been sold to 777 and paying ridiculous rent on the stadium. We would’ve been playing our home games at Tranmere in 5 years time if Richard Masters had given the approval the go ahead.
