2017/18 Morgan Schneiderlin

Williams and Martina have always been crap, so have an excuse.

Schneiderlin hasn`t always been crap, he just can`t be arsed.

Think there is a tendency from a lot of our supporters to overreact though. Schneiderlin has been poor this season but he's not a poor player. A lot of our fans are very quick to write players off, and then complain about how the club is run. If these same people were in charge we'd be clearing out half the squad each transfer window after a run of 6 or 7 poor games because they knee jerk and overexaggerate how bad things are. The reality is that people go through periods of form, and when they're in a bad run of form it doesn't mean that they're suddenly bad players. Obviously in some cases, the player may just not be good enough for our team, e.g that's how it looks with Klaassen. But the way our fans go on, a lot of them have written off players like Sigurdsson, Keane etc. I'd like to give them a chance to show what they can do when we have sorted out the problems inherited from the previous manager with a massively imbalanced team, extremely low in confidence.

Considering we're 9th, and we still have most of the same players from last season, we seem to have a surprising number of 'worst evers'. Who could forget Oumar Niasse who was the previous holder of the 'WORST EVER' title who has now scored 6 goals in 12 PL appearances this season which is a scoring rate of 1 in 2.

He was only ever signed as a back up to the back up, he is being played out of position in a team where most are underperforming.
Martina is the least of our problems and I think has already probably played his last game there.
I think on Wednesday it will be Kenny or Garbutt...probably Kenny as he is better defensively.
He cost a wage under Koemans tinted glasses we have Southamptons 3 rd choice right back - get rid asap along with Snides!

I don't think you can cal Martina a coward, he is a tube but not a coward. He is a limited right back but he stands up and does his best a left back, he gets slaughtered but if he is picked he keeps going.
Schneiderlin can play but he chooses not to put any effort in. He can't blame Fat Sam's long ball tactics as he has been stealing a living for a while. Apparently West Ham are prepared to pay £20 million, if he would get this a**e into gear he could be worth it but as far as Everton are concerned that is a good price for a player who has become a passenger.

He's done absolutely nothing to prove this yet mate.
He's basically Jose Baxter at this point.
It is early days, I agree. But I think he reads the game well and is very competitive. He just needs to speed up that point where he wins possession of the ball and then has to distribute it, because he tends to get caught on the ball or run into opponents just now more often than not.

I have high expectations for him, though.

Which is great. But he's not ready.
