• Gana/Schneiderlin. I'm not convinced on two defensive midfielders - big fan of Schneiderlin and Gana, so much so I think only one is needed to disrupt play. The game has moved on a fair bit but Vieira, Keane, Essien etc didn't need someone sat beside them in that role. They took accountability for that part of the pitch and did it well. I think having both of them limits us going forward and creates a vacuum..

Didnt think they worked from the moment he joined though, Gana was working much better being the shield the moment those instructions where removed from him he became more "box to box" the problem is, his output in the final third is poor, we should have just left him as the holder.

I feel it'll be difficult to sell him. The amount of Blues wanting to "drive him there personally" may cause a huge traffic jam in L4 and thus he may not even be able to make it out of Merseyside before the deadline.
