2017/18 Morgan Schneiderlin

Summed up entirely when deep into stoppage time and chasing a winner, receives the ball with 10 yards of space around him. Jogs forward a few paces, turns around and then passes it to someone behind him who was trying bomb on.

If it had been him who'd broken his leg today I wouldn't have even clapped him off, I'd have waved. Arrogant arsewipe of a player.

He is very limited on the ball. His defending is ok. Think Coleman needs to come back in now.
I dont argue that at all. He needs to develop, no question. As far as the problems about today in the quote i was responding to, he was in a way problem #17 out of many. Many other issues that stood out to me that are far more pressing. Work rate and effort for me are attributes I want my players to have. Some of ours are seriously laking that.

we need to offload him and get in a proper DM. I thought he was a good signing, but he doesn't anchor at all, which is what i thought he was good at. We miss a barry type. Today williams goes with his man up to the half way line and we're left with a massive gap which they exploited. Carbon copy of spurs' first goal where jagielka wandered out following his man.

Whether it's the defender's fault or not, i don't know, but when barry was here, he'd always drop in to to cover the centre back if they wandered out. Schneiderlin doesn't do that whatsoever, and that's where most of our problems lie. Lack of protection for what is a patched up defence of two youngsters playing alongside an over the hill centre back and a terrible right back playing left back.

I honestly don't see what he brings to the team, offers nothing going forward, doesnt shield the backline, basically gets the ball once in a while and passes it sideways,.then goes missing.

Literally hides behind opposition centre midfielders so he doesn't have to take responsibility.
Means our CBs are under constant pressure to play a forward / difficult pass.
Rooney comes on and plays forwards. Some didn't come off but that's what happens sometimes.
Guy needs selling. It may just be confidence but it's got to the stage here it's irrelevant. He's a hindrance to the team.

He can spot a pass, so can Gareth Barry. Hope McCarthy being hurt doesn't stop us from dumping him. But honestly, it doesn't help when you pair him with McCarthy, who was even beyond Martina, the worst player on the pitch.
