He did Joey. If we all realise that he isn't there to tackle but to turn the ball over to another player and keep things ticking he done his job great today.

I'm his biggest critic but he was solid today in the sense of keeping it ticking over. That's the best him and Gueye have looked together this season

Doesn't really work when he turns the call over to gueye who then has the same job of turning back over ... someone needs to take responsibility and pass forward. To often it's turns over and turns over until Williams gets it and then hoofs it to no body

I guess it's a case of baby steps mate with him and trying to get his form back ( if possible).

That was his best performance of the season which tells us all how bad he's been

I will start by saying I don't want Fat Sam at Everton but I not one to paint him as useless when he clearly isn't. I do not think he has worked any miracle, just has just brought order where there was none. However in terms of Schneiderlin I think if he is prepared to work and try and recapture some of the form he showed when he first came then Fat Sam will stick with him. Let's face it, if he leaves Everton he is not going to Chelsea or Spurs he is on his way to Newcastle or Crystal Palace, if he hits lucky.

Been highly critical of him, because he’s a good footballer but felt he’s really been shirking his responsibilities.

Last night, he played like he actually fancied it. Needs to keep it up if he doesn’t want binning.

Obviously, we don’t see players day-to-day in training, but from what I’ve seen, I prefer Beningme.

He appears to offer everything Schneiderlin does, but is bigger, stronger, more aggressive & an eye to run the ball forward.

Hope he gets a go against Swansea.

Gueye frustrates the life out of me with his continuous backwards passing. That's his first thought; to play an easy pass backwards. Last night, even when he found himself in a pocket of space, he simply passed back to Williams on several occasions. The management team need to get stuck into him to get him playing more positively.

Schneiderlin just doesn't look bothered. I think we're safe to assume that going off his training ground antics. Buckle up or get out.

You’ve got another thing coming if you think we are selling him.

He’s been Sams go to player in his 3 games he’s properly had here. The first real chance he had to start him he did last night.

Was one of our better players last night as well.

Yeh I still think it would be best for all parties for him to move on in a few weeks. Just doesn't offer enough.

We're in no position to be letting good players go.

Schneiderlin is a good player - he proved that last season.

In away games he's vital for us to have a player to get on the ball from deep - which he did last night to good effect.

At home at the moment - against the lesser sides (i.e. Swansea next week) - I don't think there's a need for both him and Gana as we are playing a three-man midfield atm, allowing Rooney more time and space on the ball.

Gana is in better form and should start those types of games, with Rooney and one of Davies/Gylfi (possibly Klaasen/McCarthy, when the games pile up and the latter is fit) ahead of him.
