Not sure I like seeing that. Being able to cover a second position is good. However, moving all over the place just kind of gives me a "master of none" impression. We need players who can excel in what they do, not be ok in a lot of different ways.
Or you could look at it as we have a player that can play numerous positions and can help cover for squad rotation and covering injuries.
Will help with not getting say a CF and winger. Lad can cover both if needed.
Also means we then don't have to go out and buy 2 or 3 positions when 1 may cover it

*sigh*

The point I'm making is that this is Everton and he's not exactly going to just drop out of a training session over there to say 'I'm off now see ya' is he? We'll be made to wait until they're all back in England.

Happy to be proven wrong like.

well yearh he can leave training to discuss a move!

This is just a guess cause I've not watched full games but watching some of the clips it felt like he was doing largely the same things and what his position was didn't really change his play

Take a gander at where Sterling was revealed by Chelsea today
It was in LA
.

Point being, there's absolutely nothing stopping us making similar reveals while on tour (except for a bid Wolves accept, of course).

I watch a lot of championship as I player gaffr. He was one of the best players in the league last year and will give us much better returns than flash. However would of preferred Ben Brereton Díaz and probably would of got him cheaper

From those figures alone, he's got a good return from most positions although clearly strongest in one. Versatility isn't a bad thing.

Yeah easily one of the best youngsters and players in the championship, the only other player I would’ve wanted more was carvalho, but somehow Liverpool got him for nearly nothing ffs.

I really like him, he’s good in the air for a smaller lad, passing is decent and knows how to go from a-b(get the ball forward/outside quickly).

Think Ben Brereton Díaz at Blackburn would be a like for like replacement for richi and would cost 20 mill at most and would of been a great buy.

He was out of contract this summer so Liverpool agreed to a fee to stop a foreign team agreeing to take him for free or other English teams coming in for him this summer. They would have had to pay compensation for him either way so just moved early

Not a fan of signing players because of their versatility tbh
