I am so embarrassed I won't go out of the house in case people start laughing at me. So what!!!!!!! Its no big deal. People need to stop making mountains out of mole hills. I laughed when I heard about it, not embarrassed in the slightest.

I'm sure I read somewhere it's a hanging offence, akin to Treason like.

Plenty of teams have sent players onto the pitch with the shirt names spelt wrong...

Not many have launched the sale of their brand new kit by doing it though.

Everton is and has been for as long as ive supported them a club ran quite badly IMO.

Chelsea spent an entire televised match with the advertising hording saying "Cheslea" (or Chelesa, can't remember).

It only becomes an embarrassment when Everton supporters start frothing about it and turning it into a major issue.

Hmmm, all my kopite mates were circulating this story from yesterdays Mirror. They ALL mentioned 'Wembely' too.

I told one of 'em to [Poor language removed] off and grow up. His reply: "another 1 reeled in."

It's amateur for multi-million pound company, no excuses, the club owe the lad an apology if they haven't already imo.

Really winds me up, mate. Gerard must be absolutely disgusted he's joined this club. It's a joke - he comes here to play some football and maybe take his shirt off for a selfie now and again but the club is so disinterested in him one person spelt his name wrong. Every times he takes it off to take a photo in the mirror for his Facebook he'll see that name staring back at him

Sickening.

But this isn't news is it?

This was like 4 days ago

Wasn't even news 4 days ago, just someone not really focusing properly when printing his name, that's all, nothing more to see. How this makes newspapers or media agencies online is ridiculous.

Hahahaha. Spot on.

Meh... Not arsed.... Every club makes mistakes...... Liverpool once put a lad called Andy Carroll on the pitch and described him as a professional footballer.
