Pretty sure the other players will be arriving back within the next week, players came back on like 4th to start training, players at Euros or internationals usually get an extra 2 weeks or so, which would be around the 18th. Think will see a fairly young team wednesday then will see everyone back after that maybe.

If anything, Barkley might not be back yet, only just finished Euro Under 19's commitments.

Yeah, won't be too long before the whole squad is back, imagine the International lads will start figuring in the lineup by the time they fly out for this 1week tour to Indonesia...mini Scotland tour next.

Does anyone have the highlights up on ETV yet? thinking that will give us more than ssn did. don't think they're available unless you've purchased pre-season package though.

I have the pre-season package, not on there yet.

They just uploaded something onto there called MORvEFC.mp4 which im guessing was meant to be the highlights, but it was only 2 seconds long, and then they removed it. So guessing they messed it up. Idiots.

They said on twitter highlights would be up by 9 too

They are meant to be up at 9pm today. They are not up yet though....

Not bad! At least we start off on the right foot.

Junior at age 20 looks a find, though we should keep our heads until he gets more game time. Optimism though. (Vellios tying his laces while Junior scored was pretty hilarious - wonder what would have happened if the ball plonked off him and in.)

I'll take a 4-1 victory ANY day of the week!

I'd be fumin it they did something like that on Hibberts testimonial and let him score, but I think theyl prob do it anyway

From the OS, didn't realise that today's testimonee (and his dad) was a blue:-

Jim Bentley, a passionate Evertonian will see a dream come true when he leads out his team against the club he has followed all his life, and the club his dad Jack proudly represented.

Jim is celebrating 10 years service with Morecambe, and there is no other club in world football he would rather have shared the celebrations with than his beloved Blues.

“It's a dream I've had for years and years,â€￾ he said.

“I'm not as fit as I was so I'll only be playing a small part in the game, but it will still give me a massive buzz.

“I'm sure I will be nervous the night before and it will be a very emotional day for me.

Because i want him to score for real, tho they are gonna give a pen away at some point and hibbo is gonna score! and we wont riot cos its a friendly, u dont celebrate the same when its a friendly!

I agree with this.

It shouldn't be a pity goal
