Disagree i liked it from the pics and i like it even more now I've seen it in the flesh.

Rodwell and Junior looked potentially a good partnership today both impressed and both likely to play second fiddle to a Fellaini/Gibson partnership so plenty of central midfield options.

If we get linked to a central midfield player i think you write that off immediately as nonsense as it's the last position we need to strengthen.

Duffy looks a player to me i hope he gets game time this season as he needs to be playing games in my optinion.

That's the only thing I can find that lists his height and that says 1.62 metres which is 5'3-5'4 ish.

exactly what happened with that sivok guy. it is a very strong area it has to be said, sadly we seem to have to many cm's and we end up with better players on the bench as opposed to who plays RM. has cahill been playing with aus lately hence why he wasn't playing? dont think i'm expecting him to go anymore, maybe not anichebe either seeing as we don't have any replacements lined up yet

you'd hope so, otherwise their preparations are gunna be very shoddy

Some good opportunities in the next couple of weeks for the likes of Taudul, Bidwell, Garbutt, Duffy, Junior/Francisco, Vellios, and hopefully Barkley to get a couple of games in before Howard, Baines, Jags, Heitinga, Gibbo, Jelavic and Cahill(?) return.

True, he was in Austria last week mind. And to be fair it is the Olympics rather than the African Nations Cup or World Cup!

We're a bit light on wide men thinking about it, another reason to get Pienaar nailed down.

Pretty sure the other players will be arriving back within the next week, players came back on like 4th to start training, players at Euros or internationals usually get an extra 2 weeks or so, which would be around the 18th. Think will see a fairly young team wednesday then will see everyone back after that maybe.

If anything, Barkley might not be back yet, only just finished Euro Under 19's commitments.
