If we get as much as we can hopefully we can get enough money to get a couple of the players we need in. He's a good player but was clearly not suited to the speed of English football.

Remember Diego Forlan? An otherwise good striker who couldn't do anything in England.

Kean looks every inch the same. Some players just aren't suited to the league here. Too competitive, physical, fast.

Kean won't play for Everton again and rightly so. The question is solely what kind of fee we get for him now. He's scoring goals in the French farmers league and that'll drive his price up - that's good for us. But that's all it means.

This is not good business
I can see your point ,but he didn't want to be with us ,yes he is scoring ,in a crap league tho
Just in the current market with this pandemic money is tight everywhere if we get our money back it goes back in the pot to look elsewhere imo

His failure in England will unfortunately probably mean we're not inundated with bids from the richer English clubs for him, but to think we could potentially sell him on for a tidy profit because things have worked out in France is excellent.

It's a huge bailout on what was a definite miss from Brands, that could fund e.g. a new right back in the summer.

To be fair to the DoF though, anyone in world football would have taken the gamble on him for that price.

It's not a crap league. It isn't the PL but lots of good players start in France and we need to tap into that reputation.

If this is what Brands definite misses look like we're in great shape
