I’m a bit worried about us chucking 40 mil at a 19 year old unproven in this league to be our main man.
Experience goes a long way and this kid is lacking it.
I’m sure I’m wrong and he’d be fine but it’s a big step for all parties

thing is, strikers are by far the hardest position to fill being a team not in the champions league as most good strikers are already at bigger teams so you have to go on potential

I don't think there's too much risk involved with that 40 mil though. It'd have to go very, very wrong for us not to be able to recoup that.

It's either take a chance on someone who could be the next Rom, or buy someone with more experience who may turn out to be another Tosun.

Who would you suggest out of interest? I can't see what other options we have.

My concern is more about needing a great striker to come in and really kick us on

hmm not sure, he's obviously a gamble

but he's coming from a massive club who by all accounts would rather he signed a new deal and has a decent scoring record when played this season

he's already a full international with 2 goals in 3 games

think he'll be boss me, as someone else has pointed he would have to be absolutely awful for us for this to be a poor signing, but given how highly he's rated I can't see that happening
