modern warfare 2

I have it on the 360 and it is outstanding, believe the hype.

My friend has it for the PC and he says that the multiplayer matchmaking works really well. Will also pick the PC version up myself sometime down the line, perhaps just after Christmas.

well ive completed the single player - its excellent

almost completed the special ops - excellent

and had a couple of hours on multi player - excellent

rip cod4 , mw2 is an excellent decendant that i really cant find a fault with.

(ps anyone got the joint ops emblem ? lol its ganja leaves)

no contest ...mw2 is pretty much perfected gaming and surprisingly not the usual sequel rippoff (which they could have easily done).

left 4 dead 2 is good , but its not perfect and not much different to the original imo.(doesnt really break any new ground)

MW2 is the better game, but L4D2 will be really good.

Well....I was eyeing it up in HMV but...

A) Im so skint I cant even draw breath never mind coin.
B) Work will sap up anytime I have to get to play it
C) Bird will whinge.
D) No web at the moment (sneeking into the library at the moment)

So Im seeing my gaming lifestyle slower decreasing. The days of going out and getting COD2, Uncharted 2, Tekken 6 etc the day they come out and hammering them is a thing of the past.

Gutted.

Will get it when its dirt cheap I hope.

Just before MW2 was released CoD4 was still going around at £30, so it could be a while before MW2 gets cheap.

Yeah they wont drop the price for ages. Probably wait until Cod7 is released.

I know...I got rid of COD4 and got £20 swap for it even a year after it was out. Its a massive game.

I know MW2 was £26 in Sainsbury's and they all sold out in 3seconds. But still...no web (which is mainly the best thing of the game although the campaign will be good), and no time is the big thing.

But it will be cheap. I sniff out the deals. I bought COD4 for £25 a month after is was released (hotukdeals is FTW)

Like I say, I keep my feelers out.

I've bought Devil May Cry 4, COD 4, GTA 4 all for £25 a few weeks after they were released (some online stores tend to have pre-ordered too many and end up selling them off quickly for cheap).

At a push it will be available for £30.
