Modern slang/terms you hate

Recently had a visit from my daughter and three of her American university friends for a weekend while they attended a concert in DC.
Issue 1 - complete loss of tenses for verbs in sentences " she be in big trouble because of that comment" " we be leaving in the afternoon"
Issue 2 - literally as an emphasis "I literally thought she was stupid"
Issue 3 - Tea - just why?

I've had a number of emails from companies I deal with recently and their reps have been using the term 'touch base' an awful lot.

I despise those people.

Baseball equipment sellers ?.....

So..... at the start of every sentence by some pretentious half wit.

I dislike when folks try to invent slang by shortening words, such as that guy is "suss" (for suspicious). No need.

On the other hand, I convinced my two year-old, to the chagrin of my partner, that beer is called "night-coffee" I like that slang. Everytime I open a beer, he goes "daddy has night-coffee."

The superfluous use of 'do' in emails in order to suggest sincerity.
Ex. 'Please do contact me if you want to discuss this matter'.
