I had Joseph on my fantasy MLS team starting last week, and he didn't play. I've had Moreno on my team too and he's succeeded in not scoring goals, but also getting cards (doh!)

my team is the most frustrating to me because they can't score at Qwest. :mad:

NYRB's start this year is the most surprising; they're playing a million times better than they did last year.

At least you don't have Perkins. 6 goals against in 2 games. Not exactly his fault but it's hurting my fantasy team. (n)

I have to admit that I don't watch MLS all that much. But I caught a large portion of the Sounders v Red Bull this weekend. I found the action better than the Everton v Hammers snooze fest on Sunday.
 
NY Red Bull has improved immensely and if he keeps playing like he has, that rookie in the back for them, Tim Ream, is a lock for Rookie of the Year.

On another note, Landon and the Galaxy are going to be in town this Saturday night but as luck would have it, my wife and I have a charity event to go to that night. We've given the tickets away but I'm gonna be refreshing my Blackberry quite a bit.

There are some awesome matches in the MLS, and some boring ones in the EPL. 9 times out of 10 the EPL matches will be more exciting, but i think many probably don't realize the quality the MLS is capable of putting out, as far as matches on the pitch. :)

nothing is more maddening than taking 17 shots on goal, having 12 corners, and walking away with a fat zero on the scoreboard though.... Sounders suck at finishing.

Bill if i were you i'd skip the charity, just send in your donations and then attend the match! :D

As we meet on 'neutral ground' here, - I'm a Crew Fan- I really commiserate with you hoser fans.
The two years of unreal expectations has run out and now you guys are just dealing with a certain level of incompetence. But it really doesnt help with all the turnover in management.

Remember how long Sigi took to build the crew?!!

That really pisses me off {being for Crew}.. esp if John now fixes his ego/headcase problems.

An update on the NE Revs: we have actually signed an attacking midfielder! We signed FC Basel player Marko Perovic on a 2 year deal, and his visa was approved this week, so we should see him in uniform on Sat. He is a 26 year old AM who plays on the left or center. Former Serbia U-21 international also played for Red Star Belgrade.

I'm excited...we haven't made a signing like this for a looooong time. I hope he makes the grade!
