First 2 games I watched were Braves-Mets on Friday and Blue Jays-Rays yesterday.

That's the first 14 innings with just one run. Rock and roll.

Got to appreciate both aspects mate.

That Braves Mets game featured the best Pitcher in the game.

If you’re not a follower, I guess it’s similar to Everton drawing 0-0 every week and Southall saving 20 shots each game, just unstoppable.

It'd be Everton that. Sign the world's best keeper and fail to score once at the other end for half a year.

Nothing says baseball is back more than the Mets blowing a lead with two outs in the ninth inning
Same just happened to the Blue Jays. 4-2 up with 2 outs and no-one on base in the 9th.

Lost 6-5 in the 10th. Rays didn't deserve to win that. I'm delighted!

Yankees haven't all season.

Rays sweep them.
9-1 on the road.
Top of the AL East.
Lowest payroll in baseball.

Think I just let out a little bit of wee.

RIP to the greatest Met of all.

Tom Seaver, the greatest of all Mets who dropped out of public life in March of 2019 after being diagnosed with dementia died early Monday. Accoring to family sources, Seaver, 75, died peacefully at his home in Calistoga, Calif., from complications from Lyme disease and dementia.
He leaves behind 311 victories, 3,640 career strikeouts, three Cy Young Awards and countless millions New York baseball fans who forever cherish the memories of the Miracle Mets 1969 championship season and his starring role in it.

Been disinterested in the season overall. Yet this was fun...

Texans fire Bill O'Brien today and the largely dormant Astros' offense explodes, including Alex Bregman homering on Oct 5 for the 4th year in a row (2017-2020).
