Wasn't sure where else to put this but yesterday, during my work's sports day, I scored the greatest goal of my life. One which I am highly, highly unlikely to ever match (I can't believe I even tried it).
25 yards, on the half volley (the half volley for God's sake!), smashed off the laces into the roof of the net above the keeper. It was the kind of goal I have dreamed of scoring. An absolute belter. A rocket. Impeccable technique.
Beautiful and glorious. I went to bed very happy.
