Transistor radios. Old style with Long Wave. I bought one recently - a Roberts - so that I could listen when I'm on the toilet.

It's so small it falls over when the aerial is fully extended. It's very loud though.

My old one finally gave out after 30 years service, by which time it was held together with some rubber bands that the postie chucked on the stair. There's a use for everything.
