minor things that make you fume

First time I’ve nearly been kicked out of a public fireworks display tonight about 5 mins after I got there 😂😂 jobsworth security fella wouldn’t let me walk 10 yards to where I wanted to get and told me I had to go the long way around… no signs or barriers anywhere so I tried the nice approach and apologised stating I had no way of knowing I wasn’t supposed to go that way but that I was only going to a spot 10 yards away (where others were stood) … but no… he had a hi vis security coat and a badge in his arm so I was expected to do as he asked…. I laughed at him and asked was he serious… he started squaring up and tensing up … it was then I became a little upset by his actions so told him politely to f*^% off …. And that’s when the police came over and got involved …. The plastic card carrying melt started mouthing off again so I politely explained to the officer the situation, fair play the officer explained I was in a restricted area but as there was no signage I wasn’t to know, he then said I could walk the 10 yards to where I wanted to get as long as I left the long way round afterwards… mr security wasn’t happy with this and started mouthing again, Mrs k was getting a bit upset now so I did raise my voice a little and told the jumped up bellend where to go again … that’s when I nearly got kicked out 😂😂😂😂

After calming down I got to stand where I wanted … all of a 15 second walk away and proceeded to have a lovely evening…. A bit of common sense and understanding could have avoided the whole embarrassing experience.

People that jump the queue at a public fireworks display, and than end up going full on with a 16yr old teenager in a yellow sleeveless T/shirt ( that could have been mistaken for a hi vis security jacket )

Poor lad didnt know what hit him, all he was trying to say was don't walk that way cos ive just had to squat 💩
Other than that it was a lovely evening..

There's a TV show called Richard Osman house of games.

For the first 5 minutes or so, every day, each contestent is asked which of the crap prizes they want and why.

I dont even watch it, but that element and just knowing it exists just makes me fume.

I hear this one.

For 4 years I've been contemplating getting one of these, but just can't justify it/too expensive;

So instead I kill myself. 3 full garden waste bins and there's still some left. Every year I tell myself I'm leaving the leaves this year, but there's an arl gent approaching 90 next door who is incredibly garden proud and from his sitting room he can see all the leaves so I have to pick them up.

Cracking course, starting at the main car park, onto the beach, around the headland and into the forest. Weather was wild !

Second best time of the year too 👍

Stayed in a lovely pub over looking the Menai last night - The Gazzelle.
Llandwyn island up ahead….. love that place.
I last went to the Gazelle about 2 years ago for someone’s leaving do, lovely day and lovely setting but soooooo expensive. One of the women with us ordered food, a burger, cost about £16…… when it can it was just sat on a plate on its own so she asked where the chips were only to be told chips were extra 😂😂 they wanted about another £5 for a few chips. It is however a lovely place. I was by chance just a mile or two down the road from you, in Beaumaris, almost getting kicked out of a firework and bonfire display 😂😂

Leaves make for a great mulch, even moreso if you accelerate the decomposition time in to your soil by shredding it...not an ignorant purchase that, if you can take advantage of the byproduct and you're not just trying to make it easier on yourself to collect/throw away. You might even be able to sell some to @Joey66.
