She’s just informed me that she’s told her mother we’d be happy to there for dinner tomorrow and spend the afternoon there ffs.

That's instant divorce in this house if either one of us did that. We hate each other's parents equally

Oh don’t get me wrong, the MIL is great…. But not on a Sunday when footy is on and formula 1.
And I I’ve to avoid the sneaky traps the Mrs sets, like “oh, you don’t have to come… if you really don’t want to”
Which translates in real speak as
“You better be coming or I’ll serve your balls to you on a plate”

I’d wear trail runners tbh, it’s a mixture of gravely wide paths, tarmac in parts, muddy tracks and probably sand if you go into the dunes

Just had an anti-virus update on my PC, 2 niggles:
1) No warning from the supplier that they are going to update so I am wondering why my PC is running so slowly, only find out when.....
2) A shortcut is deposited on my desktop . If I wanted a shortcut would put one there myself.
