A&E or at least your GP - there's special droplets for that but I believe aren't sold over the counter.
Panadol/paracetamol will help but very, very slowly if at all in some cases - annoyingly it's the magic cure for everything in the UK.

Been a miserable few days but I think im slowly on the mend, infection was quite nasty.
