minor things that make you fume

Lucky for you that some people do.

Yes I'm glad delivery drivers and taxis drive although I personally use public transport 99% of the time.

Currently some people will always need to drive however current car usage is unsustainable for the environment in its current format. Myself not driving isn't huge in the greater scheme of things but every little helps.

It really winds me up when I see single occupants driving Range Rovers etc. I see it all the time around Heswall. In reality a Fiesta would suit their needs.

If we’re going to have a serious crack at this climate change stuff then maybe people should be forced to prove they need a certain class / size of vehicle?

It’s not the solution, but it’s a start.
Asking the well heeled to make personal sacrifices to help save the planet is a non-starter I’m afraid. They don’t give a flying one.

People whose idea of enjoying music is having the same song on repeat. And I don't mean some extended techno set, or grungy metal album, or the latest RnB hits compilation which may sound similar for a long while. I mean the same actual f'ing song like 14 times in a row. Even songs I like make me fume after a more than a couple of consecutive plays.

I remember when I was a youngster being in the local social club and putting on tokyo garden by Siouxie 10 times on the spin. Levels of fume from the oldies was epic.

Increasing strict emissions tests on the MOT.

I get the reasoning but over the next couple of days I'm gonna be ragging my low mileage car up and down motorways in an attempt to 'Italian tune-up' a load of crap out of it and directly into the environment. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?

Or I can scrap it and buy a shiny new low emissions model that has cost way more in energy and carbon use to manufacture and ship around the world than peacefully allowing me to run my old diesel into the ground ever would have.
