All the work on the original quote, ie Contracts, price, etc., etc., has all been done. It is far easier for senior management to extend a contract than negotiate a new one with a different supplier and at a better price. Provides more time to go to the pub.

Found it hilarious when the director tried to tell me I’m holding it up when he was the one who gave them another chance after several seven day notices and contractual letters.
