I have a beard occasionally, because I can't be bothered with the faff of shaving. It's simple.
People who invite faff and paraphernalia are the kind of small minded people who obsess over themselves and their appearance and for whom shops exist to flog them the tat they need to 'feel special'.

This just reminded me of last week. Full fast food coke slipped out my hand as I came in the back door and straight down the basement steps, which are carpeted. Came the closest so far to dropping a c-bomb in front of the kids.
