He's had a fantastic drink on Everton for the past eleven years and done well enough for the state we were in. This whole posturing over a contract, on top of five years ago where he derailed the beginning of our season with similar leaves a bad taste in the mouth. As did him fluttering his eyelashes at Spurs as a pundit in the Euros last summer.

I don't blame you for your naiveness. Everton have been relatively crap all your life. It's not meant to be this way though.

Erm lad???

I WAS WATCHING EVERTON BEFORE YA DAR COULD EVEN JIZZ LAD

He owes us more than what we owe him and if you disagree then you support Moyes FC and not Everton dumpling lad.

You're taking this contract biz a bit too personally mate. His stalling was do do with the board not the fans. With all the media work he's been doing it's plain to see he won't be signing a new one and he's off at the end of the season - especially after recent events. I'd agree with you though that it has been having a detrimental effect on the players.

It's all a bit of a mess really.

Ive been to more RS games than Tranmere games if truth be told.

:(

Good Lord. I'm shocked.

OUTED. Fat kopite wool.

I hope he goes to a "Bigger" club and fails massively

Me too.

I'd rather he came out with it then and say he's moving on rather than devaluing the manager's job at the club, which in my opinion he's doing now. It's going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. It's all about David Moyes seemingly.

You want to get rid of the manager who took us from relegation candidates to stability for the past ten years just because he doesn't know whether to sign a new contract or not, and yet i'm the naive one

All of the principles and 'we're Everton' stuff won't help us if we get a manager who can't find good players and we end up slipping down the table again. Money isn't going to magically appear from Kenwright's pockets to prop us up and save us from relegation.

If anything, i'm the one who is seeing the situation for what it is, rather than getting annoyed because he has the temerity to wait on committing his life to the club for another few years.

But yano, Moyes out, even though nobody has come up with a single reliable option for who could replace him and keep us top 7 with 1.5m per year. A lot of people thought Rodgers was a good option last season. If we'd sold Fellaini and given him £25m the replacements may have been Joe Allen and Fabio Borini.

Maybe Moyes is being a tit by not signing, but no chance would i sack him if it meant getting a replacement who thinks spending £15m on the Welsh Xavi is a boss idea.

No not that all. Read back my posts and if you fail to get the clear points that I've made then I worry about your powers of comprehension Annie lad.

Remember what happened at United when Fergie announced he was going ? They can't make that kind of thing public but I'd reckon he's already told Uncle Bill.
