Popped in to the Millwall forum for a nose. They seem to think he was carrying as well. How they know that I have no idea just social media going in to overdrive ??? The thing is with CCTV ,it will all come out in the wash.

Aye mate, look at the 2 plod just sitting off filming it with their £20 Argos Go pros at the side. Not arsed about getting involved just arsed about capturing as many faces as possible.

Mad when you watch stuff like that with just 2 horses and 2 policemen, I'm sure the horse punchers during the Newcastle v Sunderland Derby a few years ago had a whole batallion to contend with and surely the police would have known that Millwall fans being the knobhead they are would be looking to cause trouble against a Premier League side.

They have more posts about the fighting on their forum than they do about the match.Says a lot.

And when they do, for the sake of society I hope they charge him with the attempted murder that it is and charge all those involved in the ambush around him with the same. And then publicise the conviction all over the media. Hope The lad recovers.

Don't think he'd be charged with attempted murder as it's not life threatening

He could or at least should be charged for GBH with intent (as he's took a blade and went with the intent of wounding) which would be a maximum of 10 years

Yep he was deffo right in the mix of it at the front as when it happens you can see him take a step back and hold his face.

Shows you what a little rat someone was with a knife. Little rats like that when the adrenaline is pumping could have been a lot worse
That coward had no intention of getting involved in a fight. He stood back then chose his moment to slash the first person he could get at then ran away.
I'm sure the cyber rats that are on their forum will say he deserved it. Millwall tries to live up to the mantle of being the hardest fans in the country but came up very short v a small group of Everton. The slashing and attack on a coach just show what a bunch of shiithouses they really are. Thank god there is no replay as it would have been carnage.

From watching those videos that've been going on twitter the whole thing looked like a very pre arranged meet rather than just a coincidence. Have to ask what motive did our fans have being in Surrey Quays in the first place was a bit of a random place to go.

No excuses for carrying and using a knife however that's a risk that you take if you're going into a fight you don't know what someone else might have on them.

From my own experience around the London Bridge/Borough Market area on Saturday I arrived there at 11 had no bother whatsoever. We left the Wheatsheaf at Borough Market at 4.30 then as we walked past the Southwark Tavern more Evertonians joined us in the walk to London Bridge station. Suddenly loads of Police (only about 15-20 of us) appeared and then gave us an escort onto the train then off at South Bermondsey an immediate right turn through the fenced walkway and then into the ground.

The lock in after was expected but maybe for not as long as 45 minutes. We eventually got off the train at London Bridge then escorted down to the tube at that point I'm bumped into some Chelmsford City fans I knew who had been at Dulwich Hamlet just over the road. They said they had police come into the pub advising them to leave due to the trouble in the area.

Personally I find it a bit embarrassing that in this day we need to use up so many police resources for football their time should be spent elsewhere but they don't have much choice with some of the mindless idiots who follow it.
