he didnt get going until the 2nd half of last season. might hit some form again when hes looking a move in the summer

Benteke was equally as much of a gamble in regards to him being "unknown and untested in England." He was £7m and had a similar strike rate in Belgium. (Note: Benteke is also 3 years older.)

Benteke Goals Per Game: 0.35820895522 (pre Aston Villa)

Batshuayi Goals Per Game: 0.35922330097

8m Euros is 6.5m (approx) which given Batshuayi's strike rate, age, potential and the arguable fact that he has more to his game than Benteke I personally don't see it as much of a risk.

In conclusion, f***ing sign him up Roberto!

Made the same comparison in another thread earlier about Benteke not having a great striker ate in Belgium but Villa took the punt and spent £7m and he was **** hot. not been at his best this season but Villa are poor and he will be back to his best soon enough.

Batshuayi keeps getting likened to Lukaku but there totally different fowards IMO. Batshuayi doesnt just stay on the shoulder, he pulls out wide, drops deep, likes to get on the ball and make things happen aswell as scoring goals and for anything between £6-7m i'd say he's worth taking a shot on.
