This seems like madness if true. £35m is a lot for someone who has only had one consistent half of a season in the past however many years.
I think there could be a good footballer in there but why take the risk at this point. The season is over. We aren't going down, we aren't finishing higher than 7th. Just go with what we have, try and sell some of the dead(expensive)wood and spend the next 6 months trawling the world for upgrades.

There's no chance - no chance - he would be rated anywhere close to £15m.
