2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

Yeh it's so rare from Gana to play a horrendous pass in his Everton tenure.

Every player has a brain fart, it happens - it excuses absolutely nothing.
Yes, he played a risky pass to nobody. Keane didn't make him do it, did he? It's hardly a fine pass if the recipient doesn't know it's coming and is easily intercepted in our box ffs.

It's the exact thing I'd bollock a midfielder for if they did it and had a go at me for not being in the blank space they played the ball. You don't do that in the box against United or anyone. It's entirely avoidable and all Gana's choice.

The entire thing is avoided if he just cleared it himself, which he didn't do but he knew he should have and that's what the discussion was about.
It's not a brain fart from Gana that gives the ball away, that's what I'm saying.

Pass was maybe slightly underhit, but turnover was caused by Keane being caught flat footed as per usual.

Doesn't excuse the behaviour from either of them regardless, but illustrates my point that this season people are overcompensating for previous criticism of Keane by refusing to acknowledge any mistakes he's making.

Anyway who tf cares, massive 3 points and we're above the RS in the table.

Did the pass go to Keane or did it go to a United player? This is blaming Keane for not being where Gueye played the pass.

He's not flat footed, he's expecting Gana to either play the ball to his feet or clear it himself and Gueye did neither.

It's entirely down to Gana's choice of pass not being good enough and nothing to do with Keane. Same with everything that comes after.
