In 2020 we put him on a 5-year contract with a 6-figure weekly salary. That was even madder than signing him in the first place

….difficult to imagine he was at the top of his game and an England regular, but you’re exactly right in that we had seen his weakness. That was exactly the point he should’ve been sold, when his stock was at its highest. It was similar with DCL when those thigh injuries first started to surface.

Can they just not let him on the coach

It's truly mystifying. When Koeman signed Keane in the summer 2017 window he was a top player - 24, in the England camp, 100+ games under his belt, ex Man Utd traineee pedigree and a transfer tag of £25/£30m. And bear in mind he was being signed by Ronald McDonald possibly the best centre half of his generation....

He's then gone on to play almost 200 games for us under 11 (ELEVEN) managers who all clearly have seen something in him.

Yet he's absolute pants for us more often than not. Everton that!

For all of the good work Moyes did since coming back, that will be completely forgotten by me if he chooses to play Keane in place of Tarks for the rest of the season.

Imagine having to watch a team for the last few games with him in it.

It will override the emotional aspect of it being our last games at GP.

Keane is certainly crap but it is bizarre to say his inclusion from a terrible squad blots out Moyes achievement. Next season will be a defining period. How many of maybe 8 or 9 unsuitable players can be unloaded remains to be seen.
