There is nothing to be sentimental over with Micheal Keane. If he was at another club I wouldn't want us buying him.
We have to move on from sentiment when giving out contract renewals if we want to progress - so thanks but no thanks.

Unfortunately some players, who the fans rightly don’t want to stay will stay because of financial circumstances and we can’t replace all of them at once, the mess that has been left by people not fit to run the club will not be cleared up in a hurry.I really don't hope that Moyes kind words don't turn into a contract offer.
I have this recurring nightmare that we retain all our out of contract players and Moyes says "we will go with what we've got".
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get rid of huge wage earning Deadwood and transform the squad, FFS don't waste it Everton
listening to moyes interview after the game you may be right !I dont think he'll be going anywhere tbh.
Tarkowski will be sidelined till maybe Christmas. I can see another 12 month contract. Also Moyes might want to keep O'Brien at RB.
I agree re' Michael Keane and we should apply the same standard to all our players coming out of contract. There is nothing to be sentimental over with Micheal Keane.

If he does that he needs to be sacked.listening to moyes interview after the game you may be right !
I believe VAR got involved hence his delay?loved his delayed ‘roar’

I'll clap him only if he plays against us.Regardless of his problems on the field, he has been a good servant. Also scored one of the most important goals in our history (Palace on that night we all remember). I hope he gets a good move in the summer. I will clap him, if ever plays against us.
He does this every time. Every time you think he’s finally on the way out he pops up with just a decent enough performance to blag another manager into keeping him got another season as a back up. Then the starters get injured and he’s in the team dropping clanger after clanger.
If we keep him it’s a red flag on every single person involved in the decision.
If we want to move on as a football club he simply has to be punted as far away as possible. Absolutely nowhere near good enough to be playing in the premier league.
