2024/25 Michael Keane

Any updates at all on Tarks’ fitness? Even a bad hammy, I don’t see it going until the fall.

Tarks was on MNF last week. Said he’d had his op, said his leg brace would come off in a fortnight (from now), and that he hoped to be ready for pre-season.

I would offer him a new contract as backup on signicantly reduced wages. Could see in his performance against Fulham that there is still a player in there but he should only be kept for numbers and in case of injuries, which i doubt he would be happy with at his stage of his career, will probably go to Leeds and be a good option for FPL next season

I want him gone,
Has the odd good game then it's a howler around the corner.
He is to old to change.
Seems a nice fella and will do someone a job, one of the teams coming up for instance or the likes of Ipswich but hope we are going past the stage were we need older workhorse type players in the squad.
Wish him well in the future at a new club, less pressure he might thrives.

Needs a new start just as much as Everton. Gana is the only player out of contract I’d look at keeping but I honestly wouldn’t be bothered if he didn’t stay on either (sign Alcaraz please, that’s the one decision which needs to be made)
He has good games but he’s not infallible, as soon as he makes a mistake he’s tarnished again, the crowd and the atmosphere turns which is why he needs moving on, just like the rest of them we’ve had to put up with over the last few years.

I really don't hope that Moyes kind words don't turn into a contract offer.

I have this recurring nightmare that we retain all our out of contract players and Moyes says "we will go with what we've got".

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get rid of huge wage earning Deadwood and transform the squad, FFS don't waste it Everton

If he was at another club I wouldn't want us buying him.

We have to move on from sentiment when giving out contract renewals if we want to progress - so thanks but no thanks.
