Decent, but I would still sell in the summer.

Fair play to him, came on and was pretty solid throughout.

He played solid but that’s because we were so deep. His best games for us are when he is heading crosses out. Different story when there is space in behind.

I’ve got a lot of time for him on a personal level.

I suspect he would like to be much more confident on the football pitch than he his, and wrestles with that in the face of a lot of vocal criticism.

And sadly, his effectiveness in purely football terms is undoubtedly harmed by that.

He’s nowhere near as bad as some of the criticism he gets, but most football fans only deal in extremes. He gets a lot of abuse, but he never hides and you know he probably genuinely cares for the club and does try his best.

I see him as a time bomb whenever he had to deal with awkward balls and pacy forward. He is doing the bare minimum today and I expect a better all round defender.

He did both very well today. Try to get 9ff that horse now and again and give oraise where its due.

His mistakes cost us enough points to be in the position we are in today. I don’t see any reason to keep him next season if Lampard is given a chance to rebuild.
