Everton won't win matches consistently while MK is first choice in whatever formation or line up the manager chooses. Slow, ponderous but most importantly creates panic amongst his playing colleagues. Footballers know. It's admirable but naive they haven't called him out. Maybe a stronger captain or presence would. Just not mentallystrong enough for a club of Everton"s size and expectations. Not the lads fault - we recruited him. Burnley was the level.

Yep. I mean take last night, that ASM cross came in and he just let it skid off his head wth no idea where it would go. I think we had a defender behind him who might have had a clearer header. If you can’t reach it properly, let it go. He’s the softest CH I’ve ever seen at EFC.

Exactly this . Football is a small world players talk with each other they know if you give it to him physically and verbally you won’t get it back . I know football has moved on from the 70s and 80s but this lad seems to have no fire in his belly at all sadly
