I hated getting him, never have been impressed by him, and think we need a more mobile CB next year to pair with Mina. One that has some testicles and can organize a defense. Someone with some real guts and athleticism.

It would also HELP if we had a couple decent defensive players in front of him. I'm sitting here watching Rodrigo and Thomas Partey just physically overwhelm anyone trying to get through the middle of the pitch and I had to watch Davies and Gomes - who was good, just not on the defensive end - play yesterday. We need to get much tougher, meaner, competitive, while obviously not losing any of the skill.

Listen mate your clearly a good blue but let’s just give up on the Keane has pace facade.

He doesn’t it’s really that simple anyone who watches him can see it.

I seriously hope your not basing this on the Burnley fan who joined the forum when he signed and claimed he was the fastest player at the club.

He is such a poor player

If Keane is so fast, then how come I see relatively slow players leaving him for dead every week? Is their some sort of quantum physics around the term pace that I'm missing?

Based on the fact that both players are not good enough to play first team football this season, so to pair them together next season sounds like a disaster.

I would like to see us sign Zouma as I think he is the only CB who has been in our squad this year who has shown some consistency and quality. The others have been too erratic and prone to mistakes.

I'm doubtful about Mina's suitability.

Holgate and Mina have had about 1 poor game.Keane and Zouma show week in week out their level and how poor they can be and only play due to try and keep consistency

Zouma is a French Ashley Williams but less erratic. He's bang average for me.

Your being harsh on zouma he is a far better player than Williams has ever been.

The centre half condudrum was the beginning of my doubts about silva.

The minute Mina was fit he should have played Mina & zouma & banished Keane.

Agreed.

Zouma is never going to make it at Chelsea who will want £30+mill for him. He's gonna end up at mid premier league level but not for that price.

Did you see the run he did when he just forgot the ball and they went on a counter yesterday? He's not good on the ball. Reminds me more of Sakho

I do have doubts but if im honest I think he will get better offers than us anyway.
I’d like to see him play in a settled defence with the same players for 15 games.

That defence wouldn’t include Keane or Coleman.

Watching him i feel like he can’t play his own game as he is constantly going half’s on decisions as he thinks he will have to cover someone rather than just play his own game.
