I don't think we sat any deeper at all. But really, it's higher than what? We sit like 25-30 yards out. We make the attacking zone smaller for other teams.

It doesn't really require tremendous pace, although some anticipation would help. But it's just not a high press, so I don't think pace is really that necessary.

..I think pace in your back four is absolutely vital. Having the pace and athletic power to get back and recover is so important, regardless of how much space you leave behind the back line. Very surprised you ‘don’t think pace is necessary’.

God I hate 3 at the back so much.
Usually with us it means none of them specifically marking a player and they have far too much space to cover. Wide gaps and no man-marking is a disaster waiting to happen.
Fine if you have worked on it to death on the training ground but not easy to just introduce.
We have a different three now so if it happens let’s see how they do. (Everything crossed)

You can google it, I'm not making it up. Ask Sam Dyche and look up the mirror article about the fastest players on each team. I've posted it like 2 or 3 times. I personally don't think it matters much, but there is a very bizarre idea that Zouma is some speedster and Keane is slow. He's not.
I know your not making it up I just don’t think its stritctly correct. There are a few posters on here who potentially have access to paid stats & analytics products.
@Timak is always a very well informed poster on stats certain products record players speeds etc you can’t get them to my knowledge on opta, who scored or squawka but I’m certain if the stats were analysed rather than published then Zouma would be streets ahead.
Ultimately if the article stated Keane is faster it could simply be he has been recorded at a faster speed once over a small data set I.e 6 games. Top speed is only achieved over longer sprint distances & zouma may not have had to sprint that distance. The naked eye has a marked difference between the two.

Speed of thought is far more important. No good just measuring players over a fifty metre sprint.
