Much better this season but

Bit early to be visiting the vaults, much better this season and has done very well coming back from a nasty injury. Still think that Zouma being next to him and being able to cover his lack of pace has been key. I am worried about what is going to happen when we have Keane and Mina or Jags together and we try and play the higher line we have recently against anyone with pace. Glad he is playing well and looking much better but still think he will end up being third choice behind Zouma and Mina. Deserves place though currently

Keane been in the England squad shows what a turnaround hes had,and make's the decision when zouma is back after chelsea game harder between keane/zouma/Mina for us i wonder

Lewis Dunk also made the team. Laporte can’t get in the French side so it says more about the dearth of too English centrebacks than it does Keane’s ability. That said, he’s a lot better this season and it’s another good thing for the club that we’ve effectively rehabilitated Zouma Digne Keane back into their international sides and made Richarlison into a full Brazil international. Other players will see that and it will come into reckoning if they’re weighing up Everton v clubs like West Ham or Watford in the future.
