Terrible player and as someone alluded too Burnley will be our only option I think. Even if we did manage to offload him we’ll be landed with half his wages for the duration of his deal as no way are Burnley paying him 80k a week.
As bad as it is to say the only way we get our money back on rosy cheeks is through insurance on a bad injury. Over to you Mo Besic
 

That goal given up to Porto was just pure and simple dreadful defending. He though about stopping it and then let it run through, thinking there was no one behind him.

I do think hes useful...when its late in the game, and the opposition is just lobbing balls in and we are sitting back, then bring him in to clear everything out. Otherwise I dont see him getting time over Holgate and hopefully Mina

Thus I agree with. When we are sitting deep and he doesn’t have to make decisions in space, think he’d be useful. Still good in the air, but if still dump him if someone would give us a decent fee. We’d lose money, but he’s just not great.
 
I think we could get £15mil from someone, maybe a little more.

Thats based upon Klaassen being linked with Bremen and Bolasie to a few teams...

Perhaps the 4 or 5 we need are;
Richarlison + Digne
2 CBs + a DM/CM?
 
Right now I’d take a long retired Carl Tiler back over him.

We can’t start the season with him as one of our first choice CB, it really is as simple as that.

He’s good for at least one goal every game.

3 players, maybe 4. We aren't signing 5. Just can't see it happening.
 
I was very much in the camp (more 1 tent feeling very alone) that he should be given a season or at least 6 months to establish himself with Holgate and rather spend the money on a striker to support Tosun. After last night no way can we go with the lad as first choice. Unless he shows something very soon to Marco we will be dead. I might have to pray Tosun doesnt get injured and Richarlison, Gylfi and Walcott add plenty of goals to help out, but CB is now on my priority list of 3 positions we have to fill this summer.
