Here's how i think moyes' shopping list should look
In:
Joaquin (10m) very attacking
Arshavin (12m) can play striker/supporting role
Michael Johnson (8m) keep some posession in the mid!!
Bradley (4m) holding mid
Gera (free) squad player, great 60th min sub
Keeper on free, maybe an old 'star' out of contract, purely back-up

Out:
Andy Johnson (15m) i like the guy and think he is worthy of a place, but if the hammers come in with 15, it would be too good to turn down.

Total spent:£19million

Any comments???

Spot on! (y)

I agree, Michael Johnson would be a steal even though he should have been an Everton player for free because he came through our academy and was knocked back. He looked a class act at City last season and is probably the best player we're being realistically linked with at the moment(y)

He is a class act, The rs was in for him earlier on and Sven told them no chance, he too good to sell, if Hughes goes there, can't see us signing him cos he a cracker and Hughes is not soft.

Spot on. But if Hughes goes then what about Santa Cruz, Bentley, Mcarthy, Gamst Pederson etc. at Blackburn. They have a few good players there and they will only go one way if Hughes leaves, down, so i think there will be a bit of a scramble for players at Ewood

Santa Cruz and Bellamy for me. Pederson & Mccarthy didn't really shine as much this year and wouldn't want to pay outrageous for them anyway.

Bentley is allegedly joining the [Poor language removed],(n)

From what I've seen he's talented and Moyes has a knack for developing players so it may be a good signing in the future. However if our transfer budget is only 20M and not sure if he'd help us this season.

Are you taking the piss? 7m is the most someone would pay for him. No way in hell has his value gone up. Those rumors about West Ham wanting to bid 12m last summer were a joke.

Hammers quietly offered 15M for AJ at the end of the transfer window last year after Spurs beat them for Bent.

He wouldn't fetch 15 this year but you could get 10-12M, there are some not so bright owners/chairmen in the prem.

Come on now. Barry is worth 12-15m. You think they bid 15m for Johnson? YAKUBU was bought for 11m and that is expensive at that. Johnson is worth no more than 7m.

Aparently he's turned down a contract at City today. Wants out. He's a really good player, an could be a star under moyes. Would love to see us get him.
