You know what's really funny?

When I saw that Cal had posted in this thread, I immediately said to myself that "I bet Cal posts that he's [Poor language removed]."

You did not disappoint. :lol::lol:

You must have a "He's [Poor language removed]" key on your keyboard.

I do. It's like the pre loaded texts you get on your mobile phone.

very sad to hear this. I really wanted us to sign him. even if he is just a squad player initially, in a year he will be ready for the PL and I hope he is in blue...

Haven't watched any game uptil now. Not saying he's a bad player, thought he was very good when playing in Holland. He just didn't impress me that much at BMG last season.

When did you watch him? Heard he was a bust til Christmas but turned it around and was in the running for player of the year at BMG.

Here's the deal with Bradley. I have no doubts that he'll be a good-very good player in the prem (I just don't know when could be 3-6 months; could be 2 years). However, he's not the kind of player that will get better sitting on the bench. You will have to play him and most likely put up with some growing pains as BMG did. He's a smart player with some good talents (goal scoring, work rate, his defense has improved tremendously, passing needs work).

At under 5M he's a steal (if Southgate bought him Boro would have stayed up, he would have been a good fit on that squad and BMG only paid like 2M for him). He's arguably the 3rd best player on the American squad (Howard, Donovan), he's only 21 and I think would link up well with Peanut. Barring a crash out in Europe he can easily get 30 starts on our squad and get good exp in meaningless group stage matches.

That being said if he is one of BMGs best players then I can't see them selling him and even if Bradley wants to go I don't think he's the kind of player who would force a transfer.

EDIT: One more thing, he'll need training camp too. If he's signed in classic everton way on August 27th then kiss his 1st season goodbye.

A very accurate assessment Rook. Good post. (y)

Watched the Bundesliga from start to finish mate. To be fair, BMG had an awful season and only had to thank a very strong finish in the last 4-5 games for staying up. I agree that he probaly picked himself up towards the end, but he wasn't as impressive tom me, as he was playing for Heerenveen.

Don't understand me wrong. I do rate Bradley and wouldn't mind seeing him at Everton. The reason I said "I can't see it", was because of BMG reluctance to sell him after just one year.(y)
