Whether or not they go to court or not that would be me finished in Social Care on a number of issues not at least brining my employer into dispute. Would not pass enhanced DBS. Don't understand why the Police are above employment law. Hell had that dispute terms in my first job while in college working in restaurant kitchen.

Sadly, perhaps shamefully, it’s very unlikely he’ll get life although the statue books allow it. The category range will probably be 20-30 years, if not a little bit more.

I hope I’m wrong by the way - the severity and use of his role might push it up, but time served may fit into the above.
At least he'll get a rough time inside.
What with being a cop and a nonce.

theresa may 2014. Legacy. putrid toss-sock of a supposed human being. truss carried the can for gross ineptitude, how has may survived windrush and a litany of failures since. oh, her husband owns g4s btw. government contracts galore for him...

:dodgy:

Union will go mad, if there's consequences to pension for their ill deeds they'll come out swinging. See the Ian Tomlinson case.

The law around public sector pensions, states that he should be allowed to receive what he has paid into his pension, in the form of a monthly pension, once he reaches a certain age, of which I`m not sure of - could be 66/67 ?

If he had a private pension, this wouldn`t be subject of any penalties, due to his misdeeds. It would remain with the pension company, until he reached a certain age and access it.

So his public sector pension is treated the same.

Basically, it`s his money and he`s entitled to get it back.

I`m not saying agree with it, but that`s how it is.

They would need to change the laws surrounding public sector pensions, to include penalties for imprisonment . misconduct etc and this would undoubtedly lead to of legal challenges.

I don’t see anyway they get it off him , I know they seem to be trying to link his offending to his occupation when they can claw some of it back but otherwise it looks like an uphill struggle . I also get why it’s unpalatable , he’s a reprehensible creature but how do you legislate for that pension wise ?

You can`t, simple as that.

It`s his money, same as any money he`s paid into private investments.

They should at least be removing the employer contributions part of his pension as it will be a fair chunk. What he's paid in from his salary is his money
I’m sure I’ve read that they can only do it if he’s done for something related to working . So if he’s on the Rob, a racist or gives someone a crack or whatever . Think that couzens lost his because he used his ID , I’m sure I read that at the time .
