Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I dont think it works like that. In my experience, a line, medically, has been crossed, and slowly, her body will start to close down, eventually leading to respiratory failure. There will be no tubes, just a sleeping elderly lady.

Many medical professionals will tell you it is not unusual for a patient to wait until they have said, or heard others say, their farewells, before slipping into whatever we slip into.
Mr G’s Nan brought up one of her grandsons as though he was her own, so he was always special to her. He moved to Scotland. When Nan was dying they told him to come but didn’t think he’d make it in time. She held on until he arrived at her bedside, told her he was there and then she died.

Good morning folks. We had a huge thunderstorm last night. Our cat was sitting under the table in the garden throughout. Even turned her back on me when I was trying to get her in!

The moles have returned to my garden today. We've had several mole free months after I nuked their holes with frozen garlic! Apparently they don't like strong smells so shoving garlic in there gets rid of them.

@Gwladysover I know what you mean about Richy. Did you see how emotional he was with his Dad. Funny how the media are all saying what an exceptional player is after slagging him off when he was our boy.
I was thinking about @fandjango too @jazzy. Im sure he's still off climbing volcanos somewhere. Ive always liked Jet2. Done package holidays a couple of times with them and have had good experiences.
I hope the weather clears up for the wedding today. The venue is an open air event. Emma, the bride, identifies as a white witch so nature is a big part of her psyche. Her labradors Daisy and Maisie are ring bearers. She also has a Masters Degree in cetacean biology. I never get tired of asking her - why are you a Civil Servant?! ? The evening do is in the same place. Apparently you sit in tepees. I'm dying to see her dress because it ain't going to be traditional!
Meanwhile I have work to do. Speak later. Have a lovely day x
Hello lovely thanks for thinking of me
I’m still alive and well and in my last couple of weeks in NZ it’s been 3 months of loveliness

Not just “patients” , when I was 12 our dog waited in the hallway for my mum and dad to come back from church , walked a few paces with my dad and keeled over. :(

A Crawfish boil is serious good food. We served it up in beer trays.

@mezzrow knows
A few years ago I was working for the US State in Dallas and at the end of a 6 weeek training I delivered they honoured me with a crawfish boil party … the food was amazing Crawfish … jambalaya… cornbread… burgers…. Chilli dogs
I’ll never forget how great it was and how well the Americans treated me ….. even the beer was ok
