Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning guys. Beautiful day at Villefrance on the French Riviera. My friends have jumped the train to Monaco so I have the day to myself which I plan to spend on the beach followed by the crepe that I didn't have yesterday.

Long story that I won't bore you with but the plus side was I ended up watching the match. So proud of the guys. We went toe to toe with them and really excited about the Onana guy and Patterson too in fairness. As soon as I saw his interview I said Onana was a character.

Talking of character, this team has it in spadeloads. We bought well in the summer I think.

Anyway, I'll love you and leave you. Have to get my speedo's on H?

I'll leave you with the view from my balcony whilst having a nightcap last night.
Pics or we don’t believe you.;)

For those of you who want a dog, but can't get one at the moment, you might see if your local dog rescue let's you take them out for the day...a doggie fieldtrip. The shelter here in Vegas let's people take dogs out for a few hours, all day or a weekend. It gets the dogs out of the shelter and improves their mood.
Thanks, yes I found a rescue that does look for volunteers to take their dogs out although the website says they prefer people with dog experience. But I'll drop them a line and see, maybe they've got an easy dog there they can trust me with ;)

This is a really good point. At our rescue they have lifetime dogs - one's that they can't trust with a home but of course the rescue have a no kill policy so they spend all their time with them.

Only certain staff ( not even Mrs J ) is allowed to walk them.

Other rescues might have a similar policy.

Yes that's what their website says exactly. Maybe the ones that they expect to re-home can be taken out by less experienced people. Not sure really

@anjelikaferrett there was a good article in the Sunday Times today about visting the Cyclades . It suggested you fly into Paros , then go to Naxos , then Ios and finish up in Santorini and fly home from there.

Been to all 4 but not to Ios for ages - it was always regarded as a big party island - might be different now. Will photo the article and post it.

Thanks that sounds like a good trip. Never been to any of them.
