Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Mrs J's dad always used to frequent the Conservative Club in Huyton ( yes I know that sounds very strange ) and steadfastly refused to darken the door of the Labour club but his politics were more left wing that Arthur Scargill!
Replying to myself feels weird but ......it reminds me that when I first moved up to Liverpool and the table tennis team I played for started playing in the Conservative club and to play I had to join the Conservative club.

"I can't do it sorry " was my reply to which the team captain said
"Don't be daft , it's only a bit of paper you don't have to vote or canvass for them "

I've always felt dirty about those 3 seasons!

Yo guys, how is everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend and are having a good bank holiday.

Really hope we get a forward in and as much as I like Lampard, I really hate the formation and STILL we can't seem to get a grip on the fact that most teams are playing 3 in the middle and are controlling games because of it. Iwobi has been a different player and think he could settle well into the CM role. Onana will be good.

I'm not overly concerned about the start, let's see how it plays out for a while.

Anyway have a good day all, think I will fire up Minecraft it is so relaxing and has just overtaken Terraria as my most played none Footy manager game lol I'm sad yes lol

My friend’s cousin is a member of the Conservative club despite being left wing and from a staunch Labour supporting family, his reason is the drinks are cheaper there. In the days of political parties giving lifts to the polling station her Dad would always wait for the Tories to come round and go with them, if they were giving him a lift they weren’t able to take one of their supporters. lol

FFS guys, just went to make a brew and my new kettle has not only broken, but I am lucky it never started a fire the fuse is completely fried and had even melted the fuse cover, great more expense as I am not the type to send stuff back.

One thing after another for you☹️. As you say it could have been much worse. If you don’t want to send it back could you email the company with pics to support your complaint?

My Dad is verging on UKIP. He's less than impressed with the current leadership candidates but for reasons that have very little to do with politics. Let's just say diversity isn't his strong point. I've no idea how they produced me.
@Terrarian that's rubbish about your kettle. Is it under a guarantee? You should write to the manufacturer and send the pics as @Gwladysover said.

I'll be covered with my statutory rights anyway, it's only 2 weeks old and is not fit for purpose, it's more me, I won't go to the trouble of sending it back
