Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

At one stage I had around 90 on ignore. Usually people who were excessively negative, especially to our younger players. But reading threads became impossible. New Years eve 18 months ago I removed them all and I only have 1 now who's an argumentative bugger. I just don't go into threads where I think there will be aggro. Works for me.
I believe in free speech Fred and despite the fact there are a few annoying posters about I've never paced anyone on ignore.
I do like a good arguement though, never in this thread though.

My brother called before. His granddaughter's funeral has been arranged for 19 September, which means I'll be able to go. I've checked and there's flight availability for the day before, Sunday. I could stay at my brothers for a couple of nights and then travel over to Liverpool and be there for the first anniversary of Cal's passing which is the 24th. Sounds like a plan.

Maybe @Jazzy and I can have that belated date. Although I vaguely recall a holiday planned in Amalfi. Does it clash mate?

You can’t see this can you

Morning all. Had planned a visit into Falmouth today to get my hair cut amongst other things. But due to discussions with a, shall we say bitter and extremely angry fan, that went on well into the early hours on the transfer thread last night, I overslept this morning. Decided I couldn't be bothered washing my hair so I've put off my visit until next Tuesday.

Maupay wasn't high on my list of strikers when his name was mentioned a couple of weeks ago, but on consideration he would be a good solid squad player so long as we bring other players to compliment him. Think he could work well in a front 2 with Dom if we tweet the formation a but to a 352.

Not sure what the day holds up until I break open the gin at 5pm. Dig out the ironing board maybe? God help me?
I've locked horns late at night quite a few times Fred to the detriment of sleep, not so bad now I'm partially retired.

Yeah. I used to carry the standard on behalf of all our youngsters but I guess it wore me out in the end. Plus I couldn't really cope with any aggro post Cal. Which is why I was a bit surprised with myself last night.

Think the reaction won't be too bad mate. Most will broadly agree with thus. The mood has brightened somewhat since the Maupay news broke. I think the fact we had gone so long with no action, coupled with some false alarms, had been getting many people down.

There are a number of ultra negatives around. I came across one last night and there's a few on today. But not that many I don't think.
Out them Fred

I was at Edinburgh fringe again yesterday with Mrs LT, the refuse collectors have been on strike since I was there last week and I was genuinely shocked at the amount of rubbish piling up in the street and the stench of it is awful.
To add to this a beer and a large glass of wine in a run of the mill Greene King pub was £13.89. Next pub we went in was a Spoons, same round £6.49 no wonder they're popular.
Went to see Frankie Boyle, he's much better in a small theatre than a large arena I'd seen him in before.
