Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

At one stage I had around 90 on ignore. Usually people who were excessively negative, especially to our younger players. But reading threads became impossible. New Years eve 18 months ago I removed them all and I only have 1 now who's an argumentative bugger. I just don't go into threads where I think there will be aggro. Works for me.
Just sprinkle some glitter on the transfer bonses, Fred. @jazzy has been doing a bit of pointing and laughing at some of the weirder posters in there... The mystics and doomsayers need distracting for their own good.

90 on ignore is impressive Fred ?

Never blocked anyone personally, I think some of the more obtuse views actually adds to my enjoyment of the place. The key is finding the difference between a pot stirrer and a looney tune.

The day didn’t get off to a great start as the train was an hour late due to a power failure. No rain forecast so didn’t take raincoats - it rained and ended up buying umbrellas. Was going to the Minster but as it is £12.50 for adults we decided to go to the Railway museum instead, I didn’t mind I love the place. Took your advice Fred
re the credit card, it came in handy when the kids decided they would like a bubble tea £9.60!! decided not to tell Mr G. how much it cost, he may have burst a blood vessellol.Had a good day though and got an upgrade to first class on the return journey. Happy Days.

Hi guys. What a day. Loads of IT issues in work. Couldn't generate any letters, couldn't load up documents. A completely wasted and very frustrating day. Just got back from the gym which has actually taken away all my annoyances. Ready for tea now - pasta and meatballs.

A question for the gardeners amongst you. I planted some chilies earlier in the year. I actually have chilies on them. However said chilies are a very fetching shade of purple - like aubergines. Is this normal?
Sorry Anj , I just dig the holes and cut the grass. I will ask the Oracle Mrs J when she gets in from the Rescue shop.

What peed me off about York minster was that you had to pay to get in and then pay extra if you wanted to go up the tower. Not used to that in Liverpool where most things are free. I do recall the crypt there being quite spectacular. Must be over 20 years since we went.

Mrs J says it is perfectly normal to get purple chillis , "not all are Green and Red like you get in Tesco" .....according to Mrs J!

There were a lot to choose from !

To be honest I share some of their anxieties about our direction of travel but for God's sake everyone knows we need a striker or three.

Re stating it a thousand times doesn't really help matters - a bit like the kid in the car "are we nearly there yet " every 5 minutes!

The anxiety isn't helped by the window overlapping the start of the season, is it. I'm sure there was a reason for it but it deffo wasn't Everton or to support Evertonians wellbeing. :(

We went a few years ago and it was free entry to the main part. There was a wedding, we were still allowed in but we had to wait in a side chapel until the service was over. I don’t understand why some cathedrals charge entry and others don’t. Charging just seems wrong to me.

Absolutely, they are places of worship not bleeding commercial enterprises…the people that built them probably didn’t charge 2 groats to get in, 1 groat to get out and an obligatory post card…..

@anjelikaferrett - Waynetta Slob , yeah I remember that character and times , happy happy days.

Oh how wrong you are . The whole thing is about money look at the pope and his helicopter . Yes I know that York is Cof E now . They need the money to survive and a little more in some cases .
