In the middle of nowhere . @Barnfred 55 you can download the maps to use offline -I haven't done it as I don't need it but it could be the answer for you as it is the satellites it uses not the net.

Yep, the little lad was born in the early hours…mother and baby doing well and just awaiting the medics to give the all clear to go home. No idea of weight before anyone asks…..
 
Sadly as we drive back along the road we saw the gamekeeper with his gun and silencer ,it is so sad seeing these wild animals culled ,we stopped to ask why and it seems he had been hit by a car and was bleeding ,a short distance away we saw a fawn but as it was the male he would probably have the doe close by .
If it would have been the doe they take the fawn as well because it won't have any milk and would die .
Sad to see .

Morning mascoteers, just been out and saw a bloke walking a dachshund dog, it spotted Daisy and did the old sit down to wait, he ragged it forward quite heavily and carried on, further down the road another dog crossed just behind him and the little dog stopped to say hello again, he proceeded to clout it round the head :rant: it wasn't doing anything wrong. People like him shouldn't have pets.

It probably has Jazz. Wifi to houses has certainly improved no end. But the problem with 4G and mobile connection in Cornwall is the terrain. It is littered with so many troughs and valleys that there are just so many blind spots. You can get better reception in the middle of nowhere, as long as it's a high spot, than you can in most villages and coastal areas.
 

The neighbours wife popped around for a coffee earlier. No airs or graces, just invites herself around, but I'm absolutely fine with that as I enjoy her company. She's so much a less complicated character than her husband.

Speaking of her husband, in both of the limited conversations I've had with him over the last week or so, he mentioned the possibility of them going on a cruise around September/October, but during both conversations he also talked about single supplements (that I would need to pay occupying a double cabin on my own). Now I have no idea whether he was implying that I may want to join them on the cruise and i certainly wouldn't want to presume as such. So I raised it with Michelle this morning, and she did say that it is something that they had discussed, but nothing more than that at this stage.

Anyway, following on from my earlier conversations with the husband I have looked at single supplement prices and there are some reasonable deals to be done. So I confirmed to Michelle that it is something that I am interested in and that I would have a look at some of the deals and let them know so they can see if any appeal to them. If so, then we could look a it. If not, no harm done. We'll see what develops. His brother is visiting from South Africa some time around the end of September, and they are planning to visit him in London, so they need to work around that.

They might not have done it before and need showing the ropes ,so much to know I suppose if it is their first time.

No they have been on a number of cruises in the past Blue and are quite seasoned. One of them they went with friends so they have experience in that regard too. It's important that we don't live inside each other's pockets and that we have our own space. I'm absolutely fine with that. It's just a possibility at the moment and if we can't make it happen this autumn it's something that we can do in the future if the opportunity arises.

Anyway, she said to expect an invite to a barbie over the next few days once he has been able to acquire some more gas, so we can discuss it in more detail then. Plus we have our Queen/Fleetwood Mac tribute concert next Friday, plus the Red Arrows are here next Wednesday (weather permitting) so we'll have plenty of time to discuss things.
