Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this once again sultry day here in Finland. @roydo and @Barnfred 55 you are both so right .The ladies haven't left you they are just out of sight and a promise is a promise until it it becomes too heavy to bear . They would be proud of the two of you ,showing such fortitude and love .
We picked blackcurrants yesterday and they are the sweetest I have ever tasted .We are trying to get more today to freeze and make the obligatory liquor of course . I hope all have a great day and some great photos of Hibernia lads ,I hope that doesn't upset anyone .

Morning all. The weather is a bit fresher here today, yesterday was very muggy and warm, still no sign of rain though. Just seen on local news that the power lines were down between Grantham and Peterborough yesterday and trains severely disrupted and cancellations from Lincoln. Thank goodness we decided to go Tuesday! Hoping we hear some good news from @peteblue today. Have a good day all.?

Yes I stayed in Polperro and did a short tour around on another occasion. I have not google mapped it tho' other than to see where my son lives.
Not so much Google maps Blue, as any Internet connection whatsoever. Cornwall isn't the greatest place for 4G connection. Or mobile connection for that matter. Internet shopping is a pain. Whenever they send a passnumber for my payment I have to go and stand on the chair in the back garden with my phone in the air. I look like the Statue of 'kin Liberty.?

Yes i forgot ,my son's business is computers and he has had so much trouble with the speed .We used to console each other ,even though I lived in the second largest city we had terrible download ( circa.15mb ) and upload (Circa. 2mb ) Yesterday I had to reset the tv as one of my third party apps had used all the free memory on it .When setting it up again and entering the password I noticed the internet speed 297mb ! In the middle of nowhere . @Barnfred 55 you can download the maps to use offline -I haven't done it as I don't need it but it could be the answer for you as it is the satellites it uses not the net.

Must have improved since I lived down that way - you could barely get a radio signal when you drove around.

Morning everyone ,

Started off bright and sunny as per the forecast then a massive shower completely out of the blue.

Anyway taking mum for a steroid injection in her knee later - that will be fun - and hopefully cut some grass later.

Looks like Uncle Bill has found the Atreta money and splashing it on a new midfield .

Enjoy the day everyone
