Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello all. I finished work early today. Went to a funeral. It was the wife of an old union colleague. He retired about 10 years ago. Very lovely humanist service. They lived in Whitley Bay so it was a bit of a trek but I'm glad I went. One of the pieces of music at the service was a recording of the deceased and her five sisters singing a folk song. I had no idea they had all sang together as a folk group in their younger days. It was absolutely beautiful.

I'm.impressed with your work @jazzy . Looks good. I hope the rest of you have had a good day x

Good morning all on this sunny day here in Finland.I hope all had a good night and wake to a fine day . I learned how to double authenticate my sign ins yesterday and I was up at 4am worrying about which sites I need to use it on ,oh for the days when you switched something on and no one knew what the word hacking meant . Have a great day all .Looks like we have another signing :)

Morning everyone ,

lovely , bright sunny morning here.

Awoke still feeling tired after yesterday's exertions.

Only played table tennis for 2 hours last night , just ran out of energy.

The good news is that the next 6 tonnes of gravel doesn't arrive until Friday so a couple of restful days before then , although I am off to the gym soon !

When I got home from ping pong I had a cheeky beer and watched the Lionessess Must admit I've just never got around to watching women's football before and I was very impressed with technique and passion showed by the girls. It was good.

Got me thinking though .....and honestly I'm not being Sid the Sexist here .....We no longer call actresses , actresses or use the term heroine but do call the Womens team Lionesses . Can someone explain that to this old man please.

Anyway have a lovely day everyone
