Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

You will absolutely love Barca, one of my favourite places. I'd really recommend the hop on hop off bus tour for there. The cable car trip is great and Las Ramblas is great , just be a bit careful there as Mrs J got her bag nicked on Las Ramblas last time we were there.
My Mum had a similar experience there many years ago. She used to sail with my Dad once the three of us were old enough to look after ourselves. She went all over. That was her only negative experience. I want to see the Gaudi cathedral as well. Will definitely do the hop on hop off bus trip. ?

Yes Sagrada Famillia ( I'm sure I've spelt that wrong ) is stunning. It might even be finished in 50 years time!

El Bosc De Las Fades is a quirky bar. Inside is like a rainforest with an hourly thunderstorm if i remember it correctly. Its beside the waxworks near las ramblas.

Milk is great for brunch too, best chorizo hash i have had.

Happy Monday lovely people!

Enjoying a day off today as it is Independence Day here in the US. We were hoping to gather with friends for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks but the weather is not looking promising for later in the day. So I’m going to take advantage of the dry morning to do some gardening and go for a bike ride with Sofi and the hubby. Then it may be movie time the rest of the day, unless the weather turns around. This weekend has been like that, crazy thunderstorms then moments of sunshine.

Glad to read that @Methuselah was lurking around GOT, maybe we get lucky and he sneaks us a line.

Hope you are feeling better @Barnfred 55 thinking of you too!

Have a great Monday afternoon everyone. Xxx

Did you ever try that Curry recipe I posted @Sassy Colombian ?

Afternoon all. Hope all is good with you all.

Having a wonderful time in Tenerife. Met my first real life Geordie today and he was rather potty mouthed as I inadvertently volleyed a football into his face. Holiday 5 a side is class ?.

Loads of Scots at the hotel and it’s great watching the Celtic and Rangers tops eye balling each other at the pool.
Have a great time AT
