Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Oh dear my friends how shockingly bad was that.

Ok the positives , the stadium is absolutely world class. The spec from Club view is spectacular.

However....for those paying a premium for " hospitality in that area ...Mon dieu they ran out of beer FFS! The cauliflower pie was delicious, surprisingly there were loads left 😂.

The wine in Ma Boyles afterwards and band were great.

However....was that the same bloody team that was so good at United? The barcodes were superior in every position and we were lucky that the margin of victory was only 3 goals.

I thought we were horrific in defence and porous in midfield.

Very sad.
I think that’s a couple of times they have ran out of beer now. So amateurish.

Unlucky result my friend but next time can only be better.

Good morning all on this dismal day here ,what can you say ? I hope all slept well and have a good day today . What was wrong with Iroegbunum ? Is he injured or did he have a bug ? Or was it just pledibus gravis ? Such a shame as I rate him .It shows how fragile the squad is or what it just that they realised the main cog in it all was absent ?
I will be first with this but here we go ,I don't for one minute think we should sign Jack ,cost ,age and the fact he is obsessed with taking three men into the corner slowing the whole "attack " ( in the broadest sense of the word ). I watched some highlights this morning and was so jealous of sides with speed especially speedy wingers .
It was an abysmal display for the most part yesterday , despite my want to slate Moyes I have to say there was not much he could do ,other than letting Armstrong out on loan as we have no other options . Carlos is at best mediocre and Dwight has lost his way . I think a big Xmas card for TFG is the only way out short term .
Rant over ,have a great day all COYB

Despite taking maximum care and attention last year, my outdoor Christmas lights were in something akin to a Gordion knot on removal from the box this morning. I had estimated a hours work but this turned out to be 2.5 hours by the time I had them all up. They will of course not be lit this evening as it is still November but still, another job ticked off the list. One Christmas tree has gone up (not lit either) and one crib in what I am describing as festive incremental progress.

I got down everything from the loft yesterday, but not started on my bits yet which are essentially putting the tree and outside lights and decorations up . Mrsbl of course is onto it already, Christmas cushions , candles, snowflakes , various twiggy bits etc have appeared.

Someone in every household needs to take on the mantle of putting the decorations. I suspect Mrsbl is the lead here and you are mere staff 😀

Incremental is the way to go but I confess I lit the little tree I call my granddaughter’s tree when she visited yesterday morning- I couldn’t wait to see her little face 💗. Spent today doing the big tree and outdoor lights are up. I’ve peeked outside and others have gone for it so we have too.

I fully understand that. Christmas is for kids really and those of us who was still kids on the inside. I have been on a couple of walks today and it looks like plenty of people used the weekend to get their decorations up.
